Hello Members,
I am completing the new Standard Visitor Visa form to allow my parents (Indian nationals) to visit me in the UK for 3 months. I am a British Citizen.
I am sponsoring part of their visit (paying for their living expense in UK). They will pay for visa and tickets themselves.
In the new form (https://visas-immigration.service.gov.u ... visit-visa) there are some questions that I am not sure how should we answer:
1. Why is this person (i.e. me) sponsoring your visit?
- Because he wants to and he is our son? Really what should be said here?
2. How much do you think this trip will cost you?
- Is this just the applicants expense (excluding costs borne by sponsor) or the net expense (including costs borne by sponsor)
3. How much do you spend each month.
- because they live together does this amount reflect their joint expense? Should the same amount be mentioned in both applications.
4. Do you have a national identity document.
- For indians should they provide Adhaar card number? Or can it be left blank?
Its confusing because both application are being made together, individually. And both parents live together will travel together. So where the question about cost or expense is asked it is hard to give figures individually.
Finally regarding documents, does each application go with its own set of documents or individual copy?
Thanks
