How would the UK leaving the EU affect my work rights?

I'm a US/UK dual citizen, which gives me the right to work in the US and EEA (which includes EU members) without a permit. If the UK left the EU, would my rights - e.g. which countries I'm allowed to work in without a permit - be more restricted, and if so how?

It will likely be a country-by-country decision assuming there are no other special agreements entered into on the matter with the EU as a whole.
