Waiting times for FLR(FP)

Post by Akushika » Wed Jun 22, 2016 3:42 pm

Hello everyone,
I'm on the 10 year family life as a partner and mother of British children. My first 2.5 year expired in March and I filled out the FLR(FP) for renewal. I got an acknowledgement letter saying that my application raises issues relating to the European Convention on human rights which are complex in nature and so I fall outside the normal service standard. What does that mean and how long might it take for them to make a decision.
Many thanks

It's a standard letter informing you that the HO don't expect to be able to make a decision on your application within their published guidelines. FLR(FP) applications are generally a lengthy process.
