Help for FLR.

Post by BilalPathan786 » Thu Jun 23, 2016 8:43 am

Hi all,

Please could someone point me in the direction of a guide for applying for FLR, my wife was granted her initial visa back in Feb, i know we have a long time before i need to apply for FLR but i'd like to get clued up now, at the moment i have no idea what we need to do in terms of an English test, life in the UK test etc.

I know the basics, like we need to prove we're living together and provide joint utility bills, bank statements etc but some help about which forms to fill in and what tests to take would be much appreciated.

As always we're getting a lot of conflicting info from friends and family which doesn't help but this forum was very helpful when we applied for the initial spouse visa.

Thanks in advance!
Bil

Bear in mind that the forms, fees and conditions are generally updated annually.
Link to current FLR(M) form: https://www.gov.uk/remain-in-uk-family/apply

Link to current approved English tests/test centres: https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... entres.pdf

From October 2016 A2 level English will be required. (B1 level + Life in the UK for ILR)

Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.
