Where to send documents please help

Post by Zee732 » Fri Jun 24, 2016 9:59 pm

Hi
Please help
I believe I am nor prepared to apply for my wife, however, i am still a little confuse.
1, Dom I fill an online form or she will have to do it from Pakistan?
2,Can she pay her fees by using her Pakistani debit card?
3,Does she then needs to send her Pakistani documents,e.g marriage certificate, birth certificates,English test and TB test to the UK for me to send them to Sheffield?
4, Is there a section in the form for two jobs?

I will be very grateful to you if you please explain step by step how this whole process work . Thank you

1) Form can be filled by either applicant or sponsor but printed form would need the signature of applicant on it . You boht can access the online form if share login details.

2)Fees is in Pakistani rupees. You can pay fees with visa or master card whether debit or credit no matter from Pakistan or UK.. I struggled paying with Pakistani cards as it got declined twice as Pakistani online banking system is not that great. I then paid using UK master and credit cards but remember you will have to pay non sterling charges on top of fees if pay fees using UK cards

3)yes after you done all step online i.e filling forms, paying fees, booking appointment then your wife will need to attend visa application centre to submit her passports and enrol for biometric . She can send all documents to you along with signature pages of the form (rest pages you can print it from uk if has login details ) and you will need to submit all documents along with printed online form, appendix 2 forms to Sheffield and it should be received by Sheffield within two weeks of biometric appointment

4) Appendix 2 forms has all financial questions relate to jobs and sponsoring wife . its all depend how you are meeting the financial requirement

I truly appreciate your reply,I was very confused, thank you for clarifying these issues.
I have a full-time job which pays £1460 per year then I had the second job from June 2015 untill Jan 2016, which paid £5000 per anum, therefore I started another part time second job, which pays variable income ranging between 5k - 6k.
Please advise which category should I apply, and should I get letters from all three jobs current and previous?
also, this month I was ill due to an operation so I could not work a tall so I only received SSP £88 per week, however, my last 12 months wage is more than 19k and from July things will be back to normal
please advise if this would be ok ? or must I wait for another 6 months?
Thank you

There are two category

CAT A is for those who are with employers for 6 months or more whether in salaried or non salaried employment. You need to decide whether you are in salaried or non salaried and you are in these jobs for at least 6 months prior to applications. If you are in salaried employment then they will tale lowest monthly income from last 6 months and will multiply with 12 to calculate your annual gross salary in that job. For non salaried of CAT A they actually add up last 6 months salary and divide it by 6 and multiply with 12 to calculate annual gross salary. You will need to provide last 6 months payslips and bank statement in this category along with letter from present employer

CAT B is for someone who is with employer for less than 6 months but he need to prove that he is currently in job which will pay at least £18,600 per year and his total earning for past 12 months are at least £18, 600 . here you will need to provide 12 months payslips/p60 and 12 months bank statement along with letter from present employers

Thank you ever so much for your reply, your help has been an immense help

Do you think that Cat A is seen better than Cat B or it does not matter?
Does it make any difference if my wife plays with her debit card or I pay with mine, as I read somewhere that because I am sponsoring hence it looks good if I paid, is it a myth or reality
please help
Thank you

Category A is more simple but it dont matter which category you use to fulfil financial requirements as long as you provide the documentation/evidences required in those categories

It also dont matter who pay your fees. You , your wife, parent or any relative can pay fees on behalf of applicant

Its great if you can get survey report from council but its not compulsory in your case and assuming you have tenancy agreement, utility bills/council tax on your name

I will suggest you dont waste your money and its not hard to write a simple and straight forward supporting letter

I am speechless with gratitude
this is a true service to the community you provide.
Thank you

Once I have all the documents I will list it here and also draft letter for your review.

a couple of more questions, please.
should i send my original passport or a photocopy ?
I had a surgery this month, therefore I could not work for about three weeks, also I had to apply for housing benefit.
I am thinking of applying in august.
I will apply in cat B, would it be a problem, I can always attach hospital and doctors letter and explain.
Is it ok to send chat log for WhatsApp, Viber and IMO? or better screen shots
please advice
Thank you

You welcome

You dont need to send your original passport. Copy( prefer if certified) of passport/VISA is enough

Requirement of CAT B is that you are currently in employment and will be earning at least £18.600 per year and your last 12 months earning has been at least £18,600. You can apply if you fulfil these two conditions. There is not any exemption for someone who is having surgery.

Yes you will need to take the screenshot of skype/viber/imo/whatsapp to prove that you kept in touch with your partner. Try to take screenshots randomly like two different dates in each month ..you can paste three or four screenshot on one colour A4 page so that they able to read the call duration or message date clearly

Thank you again for a great reply

what I meant sir that if I apply in august , then wage from august 2015 to august 2016 will be around 20k, including June 2016 wage which would be only about £300 due to illness, and £300 housing benefit , hence this month's wage will not be counted as it will all be statutory sick pay and housing benefit.
Therefore I will have 12 pay slips but one will be not usefull, however, total wage will be 20K
I hope I managed to explain
Once again thank you for your patience and support

I have explained it in previous posts how they calculate income in different categories . For CAT A only last 6 months matter but for CAT B its last 12 months. Read previous posts and then decide which category you will use to meet financial requirement. If you are applying under category A of salaried then they will take lowest monthly earning from last 6 months and will multiply with 12 to calculate your annual gross salary so you will have issue in here if you did not earned enough in any recent month even if your total earnings of last 12 months has been £20,000..first decide whether you come under salaried or non salaried and want to apply under CAT A or B
