16 Years in the UK - Citizenship

Post by dave2016 » Sat Jun 25, 2016 12:42 pm

Hi

I entered UK on 02/01/2001 and applied asylum seekers application with my family on 04/01/2001. Refused application on 2003 by home office and than applied to court, refused again in 2004. I had two children that time and I was attending every week to sign at local immigration office centre. In 2007 14th of September we granted Indefinite Leave to Remain. I already have BRP, I never had any passport or travel document and never left the UK since 02/04/2001.

Can I apply for citizenship or I have to wait 14/09/2017? This 10 years timeline is so confused for me.

Thanks a lot.

If you mean you were regularised in 2007 then yes, shoot for 2017.
