Employer Reference letter for indefinite leave to remain

Post by krishna1 » Sun Jun 26, 2016 9:14 am

Hello,

I will be applying for my ILR soon. As required, I have arranged an employer letter but they have not included the statement saying "still require the applicant for employment in the job in question". The letter states as below. Can you please confirm this is good enough for ILR application?

Employer Details.
The UKBA Officer,

Thank you for your enquiring about Mr A.
You will find the information requested as below.
Date of entry to the group- XXXX
Job Title - xxx
Type of Employment - xxx
Salary - xxx

The nearest application standard occupational classification (SOC) code which best describes his employment is SOC-xxx, salary rate: xxxx

Mr A's current rate of pay is at or above the appropriate rate for the job as stated in the code of practice for Tier2 sponsors.

If you required any other details then please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thanks,
xxxx

The wording in the letter does not strictly meet the requirements of the statement.
It will be upto the caseworker to determine if it is acceptable or not. A simple phone call to your employer or an email may do the trick.

Those who have already got their ILR will be able to provide the template of employer letter as it was already accepted by the case worker. If someone can post the same, it will be helpful for krishna1 and others as well. --- Cheers.

Thanks Guys. I have managed to get the revised format so hopefully that should serve the purpose.
