Working tax credit and spouse visa

Post by many83 » Mon Jun 27, 2016 11:32 am

I am settled in uk with ILR and had applied for my wifes initial FLR (m) as she was on pbs dependant on my visa b4.

I have 2 british kids.

i am in full time employement

I am already receiving child benefit.

1. Can I claim for Working tax credit?? As it will be in joint name of me and my wifes name. As her visa is still pending decision in homeoffice can i still claim for WTC??

2. If i start getting WTC will this affect my wifes visa application???
