Switching from FLR (P) to FLR (M)

Post by balochboy » Tue Jun 28, 2016 7:15 pm

Hi Board. I am currently on 22nd months of my 30 months 10 year partner route visa. Since I have approved after applying for FLR (FP) I am now working since 14 months and my MRS looks after out 2 kids one age 3 and other age just under 1. My Mrs is British national and so are my kids. I have few questions as I would like to switch my visa to FLR (M).

My basic wage is £16275.00 and only I am working as my Mrs not working due to kids. Do I have to provide financial proof for myself only on the basis of £18600 or do I have to go over additional requirement for the kids. Also my monthly earning after over time and commission as per my last 6 months payslip lowest gross salary I had is £1609.00. Do I still have to be in job where my basic Annual salary has to be £18600.00.

Many Thanks

Yes, FLR(M) requires a minimum annual income of £18,600.

To switch to FLR (M) you will need to meet the £18,600 requirement! If you stay on FLR (FP) however, there is no financial requirement so as long as you can support yourself without relying on public funds. Since the Kids are British, they are exempt from financial requirements. Hope this helps! :D
IMpossible is 2 letters to long!
