Like many others I have begun to consider applying for a PRC in light of the recent referendum. I think my most likely qualifying period would be 2007-2012, as I was a student for the first four years (with health insurance/EHIC in place) and worked full time during the 5th year.
Summary timeline:
September 2007 - July 2008: UK - student
July 2008 - June 2009: abroad - student
June 2009- July 2011: UK - student
July 2011 - September 2012: UK - working
September 2012 - August 2013: UK - student (I did not have health insurance/EHIC at this point, which is why I'm hoping to use the period before this as my qualifying period).
As you can see, I was abroad for 11.5 months in 2008/9 for a study abroad year. I moved away from the UK in July, but my course abroad did not start until September. Could this be problematic when trying to prove continuous residency? I do have a transcript from my year abroad but it does not have exact dates on it, it only states it was for the 2008/9 academic year. Thanks in advance for any guidance
