Naturalised as British Citizen...What next?

Post by omairnawaz » Fri Jul 01, 2016 1:08 pm

I have naturalised as British Citizen on the second week of June 2016. I have not yet applied for the passport. I am quite busy at the moment so I am wondering if applied for passport, say after 2-3 months, that would not be a problem (or would it?).
So question really is how long can I leave it before i apply for the passport after naturalisation?
The naturalisation certificate only just says that you can now apply for British Passport but there is not any mention of whether I need to apply immediately or not.

I understand I cannot travel without the passport. If somebody could reply ASAP that will be much appreciated.

It's your choice when to apply for a British passport.

There's no requirement for British citizens to apply for British passports.
