unpaid leave employee

Post by entrepreneur123 » Fri Jul 01, 2016 3:46 pm

hi all,
i am on pre april 2014 rules entrepreneur visa. one of my employee started on 1st july 2015 and left on 31st January 2016 (7 months total). in between this period he was on unpaid leave for three weeks between august and september). Because of this his salary was less than normal in respective 2 months. Now i am confused if this will count towords 6 months continous employement or not? please reply as i am really confused.

Hi All, I am also in same situation. One of my employee was on payroll for throughout seven months period and had 20 days unpaid holiday, and hence he has received for actual work done for those two months, as a result salary for two months was less than normal. It was continuous job as per HMRC and employment law, However I'm concern about HO. Will it acceptable to HO as continuous job for six months?

Appreciate a prompt reply!

There is no such a thing as 6 months continuous employment requirement. The employment created can have breaks in them. Just enter the periods separately on the form.
