i am in the process of applying for my Jamaican husband and stepchild's spouse visa the mother is in the caymans and is not in contact with the child my husband is sole parent, we sent pictures from birth to the home office which includes one photo of my husband's mother, his mother lives permanently in new york and does not go to jamaica at all since my step daughter was 3 years old, do the home office have the right to turn down my spouse and child's application without requesting additional evidence? to prove the grandmother is not able to go back to jamaica to look after the child. what can i do to back up my case? that she has none else to stay with she is 7 years old. please advise

Your post is difficult to read as your sentences aren't separated by any punctuation. However, the main issue appears to be proving your husband has sole custody of your step child. Photographs of them together won't be sufficient evidence. Does he have custody awarded by the court in Jamaica? Have you already submitted the application?

no he does not have custody of her but the mother has been living in the caymans since the child was 3 months old, the mother refused to sign a letter to grant permission for her to leave jamaica.

i have submitted the application already, the issue is there is no one to look after her in jamaica my husband often has to take her to work with him and he is struggling, her mother is has a family in caymans does nothing for the child, her grandmother is also in new york and cannot come back to jamaica.
