Sounds like your passport has been stamped with ILR. Can you post a photo (with information redacted)?m1l4n wrote:Thanks for the comments.
I came when I was a minor, so went to high school, sixth form and uni. Then I started working and still working. I've been working since 2007 so I believe I have been exercising my duty.
On my passport there was a stamp from the HO that said "There is at present no time limit on the holder's stay in the united kingdom", I am not sure if that makes a difference.
So I presume I will need to apply for this new permanent residency card before make the citizenship application?

The image you then posted IS what appears to be a current document certifying permanent residence.have a permanent residency card issued in 2006, the blue one like in the link below, not the new one. Is this sufficient or do I need to obtain the new permanent residency card before applying?
