new business ???

hi all

i am on tier 1 entrepreneur visa "new rules" .. i know that taking over an existing or running business is different to starting a fresh business...

my question is that i rented a restaurant where the previous tenant could not pay rent therefore was evicted by the landlord through court..there was some old furniture and fittings... i changed the whole place from Ato Z i have spent over 50k ....


i have photos of the place before and after... \( i have eviction notice etc..).


am i in the safe side??? i heard so many stories about people getting refused because they could not prove that the business was not a running one?????

If you have not used your money to buy the business or pay the previous owner in any shape, then you should be fine.

no money is paid for premium nor fixtures and fittings. the landlord provided eviction notice for previous tennant.

do i need to put my name in land registry or just the lease is enough????

As I said above, If you paid any money to the previous owner then that money is not acceptable for investment.
