Urgent return of documents

Post by Lukedeej11 » Mon Jul 11, 2016 12:34 pm

Hello

Has anyone had any experience of having to have documents returned? My sons great grandmother has passed away so I have asked for his passport back as the family is going away in memory of their loss. My case is an FLR fp and I wonder if they will honour the return so he can do this. I can return it to them afterwards.

Has anyone had theirs returned or not returned before?

Thanks

Luke

Many people have requested return of documents. I asked for my passport back while I had an application under consideration, I said it was urgent and my passport was back in my hand in 4 working days.

Thanks ohara, i appreciate the reply. Hopefully this happens for my son. I have advised it is on compassionate grounds due to the death of a family member. I am hoping that they are understanding and return it even though they are still looking into my case.

I forgot to ask ohara, was your case still pending or had you done your biometrics as yet?

I'm an EU citizen so I did not have to do biometrics.

Hi ohara, thanks for letting me know. Did they send you an email acknowledgement when they sent it back to you?
