Hello Noajthan, it is me again can you help me with one question please. I've got friend who married to EU national man. On 15 July will be 5 years to their wedding. Now they want to apply to PR, her husband was working last 7 years in one company. But she didn't work at all and she has been away from UK for 10 month in 2015, now she has got only 6 month visa from oversea , is it gonna be any problems for her ? Can you please give me advice .

They got married in UK 2011.and she had 5 years RC. But she renew her passport in home country.

Thanks beforehand

To avoid confusion & jumbled responses, I have moved your question to its own thread (this one).

A dependent doesn't have to work, what they do in UK is immaterial (as long as legal ofcourse).

Why was friend abroad for 10 months? - that could be a showstopper.

What is that visa she seems to have returned to UK on? or do you mean a family permit?

And they broke up ones then she went back to her home country, she had first 5 years RC stamp on her passport , when she went back she renewed her passport, and visa gone with her old passport, and now they are together. her husband send supporting documents to her and she got 6 month visa from oversea

What were the precise dates of the absence in 2015 :?:

What were the durations away, based on a year running July-July (that is, based on the wedding anniversary) :?:

If friend was abroad for no strong and exceptional reason in 2015 her continuity of residence was most likely broken at that time.
In that case, friend's PR clock will have started from zero on return to UK and she won't have acquired PR yet.

In the meantime, she would be well-advised to apply for another RC in case any transitional arrangements are going to be put in place (for Brexit) that rely on someone having a RC. (All yet TBC but a RC could prove a good investment).
