Congrats and thanks for coming back!Malvinaz wrote:Hi Guys,
I have found this website very helpful so I decided to share my Permanent Residence application story.
I come from EU country. I have been living in the UK for 9 years.
I filled up the application, sent all the documents for the last 6 years ( I thought I would show more evidence than 5 years). I made sure that all my 5 last years of absences from the UK were correctly entered. I am perfectionist and I made sure that I had all possible evidence
Application was delivered on 25/05/16 ( I sent it by special delivery day earlier)
Payment taken on 27/05/16 under reference EURO LIVERPOOL GBR
Email from HO confirming receipt of documents received on 22/06/2016
Permanent Residence Card and all documents received on 16/09/16
Date of issue of the card 11/09/2016
If you have any questions, I will be happy to help
Hey,Ajub44 wrote:Hi All,
I applied for the Non EEA PR card since last 2/05/2016.
I did the Biometric and received the COA in June 2016.
Still waiting for the EE PR card which is over 125 days now.
Money had been taken from my account 4th May 2016.
I read from the forum that someone submitted even late May 2016 and had received the EEA PR Card last week. Please I need your advice as it seems the Application process is treated differently. Thank you.
Hey, I agree. I have seen other people who received their, within 3 months or less but they were all EEA nationals. So I'm guessing they're taking priority.Zhonor wrote:I was looking around for April applications & don't see many.... I've applied around mid April as well but so far have not heard anything since receiving the COA ... NonEU application ... Any other nonEU April applications?

Another thing that I just realised, if we sent the application in Ariel, the 6 months will complete in November, when the COA was issued, so it's not 6 months from when you applied but from the date your COA. So you want to wait before start chasing them

Hi,
I'm trying to respond to the request for other April applications from non-EEA nationals but unsure if I am doing this right...
I've been reading these posts for awhile, so thought I would also add my timeline into the mix. I am a non-EEA national who is applying for EEA PR as the wife of an EEA national who has been in the U.K. And exercising treaty rights for about 15 years.
Updated: My timeline is:
Application sent: 15 April, 2016
Application received: 18 April, 2016
Payment Taken: 18 April, 2016
Biometrics requested: 17 May, 2016
Biometrics taken: 17 May, 2016
Certificate of Application: 23 May, 2016
Documents returned with letter stating PRC to arrive in 10 working days: Received 13 October, 2016
Decision: PRC to arrive in 10 working days
Does the 6 months start from the date the application is received or from the date of the COA?
As many have said before, the waiting is terrible. We'd like to get a home but can't get any mortgage until I have the PR card. We also have a 7 month old boy that we want to show off to our families but we can't travel without passports, and we can't apply for a passport for our boy without our passports or proof of my residence.
Will post as soon as I have something back from the Home Office. Hopefully that will help someone who is also waiting.
