Teleperformance - a short term settlement visa definition

Post by John Green » Thu Jul 14, 2016 9:18 pm

Registering online with Teleperformance, who run the documents service in Moldova.

It asks what type of visa my spouse is after. The only one that seems to fit the bill is what they call a "Short stay settlement" visa. Is this the same as the entry visa so she can stay here for 30 months (though she puts 33 months on the visa)?

Family visa and a few others, that escape me. This was the only one that said settlement in the title, so I figured it must be the one. I just wish they would not occasionally refer to the same visas under different titles. The system is complicated enough!

I registered and booked an appointment with the local supplier, Teleperformance. I am waiting for the IHS payment to go through. Next on the list seems to be to pay for the actual visa. Then (last) comes "register at commercial partner."

Teleperformance. I "think" there is a charge for their service, separate from the visa payments. Is this to be paid after I pay for the visa application (at the end of the whole process)?

But if Teleperformance is indeed this "commercial partner" they mention, I already registered with them. This I needed to do before I paid the IHS. So why do they mention it later (registering with them)?

I've no idea. You'll have to wait for someone to respond who has personal experience of the Teleperformance service.

Thank you anyhow. I managed to get through the "making out the spouse application" business, with supporting documents. Now, I don't find the system of submission and payment to be that clear and transparent. What I would suggest (and it would be easy) is for them to construct a flow chart of the steps. Anyhow, thanks again.
