Tier 4 Entry to UK

Post by jedi900 » Fri Jul 15, 2016 4:39 am

Ill ask this here since my last question in the tier 2 board was specific to tier 2 out of country application.

My wife (who is vietnamese) has a tier 4 visa to the UK which expires on 17th August 2016. She has her final exam on 11th June 2016 and according to the BRC her studies end on 30 June 2016.

In mid June she had to come to sydney as my dad was about to pass away.

She has a return ticket to return on 1st August 2016 however do you think that the border force will deny her entry given its after the end date of her studies but before the visa expiry date?

She would be coming to the uk to submit her tier 2 dependent visa. Would they accept that as a reason if we book an appointment in the uk for the BRC?

You'll probably find the following sticky topic helpful, as a similar question has been raised by one of the members and answered by the HO.
