EEA(PR) Family permit .Need advise,please!

Post by KristinaUrban » Fri Jul 15, 2016 10:10 pm

Hello,
i have been following you for few days looking for information .Did call couple of solicitors ,but they gave me different advise ,so now asking you .

Me and my husband are an EU citizens. He arrived in UK in 2002 (had a student visa until 2005).He was then employed by xxxx 2004-2008 and since 2008 he is a director of a company (xxxxxxxxxxxxx).
I came in UK in 2010 (had a work permit - yellow card a year later). Was working as a self-employed till 2014 then had my maternity leave for 9 moths ,since working part-time.

1.If we apply in the same form is he the main applicant or my sponsor?

2.Do we both need to provide all the papers like statements, bills, payslips ,invoices,p60s,ect or just him?

3.We have a 2.5 years old daughter.Do we need to put her in the application or we can apply straight for a UK passport as my husband has more then 5 year here before she was born (in UK).

4. Because he needs to give the dates he has been out of the UK ,does one and two days trip (sometimes even less then 24hrs)for business to France count?

Thank you very much for your time !

Regards

xxxxxxx family

You are not applying for a permit (FP), its a DCPR.

1) One applicant is main applicant; the other can be treated as dependent. Choose person with best supporting evidence for main applicant.

2) Both persons have to prove residence i UK (also identity, relationship).
Only main applicant has to prove exercise of treaty rights as a qualified person.

3) If one parent has acquired PR daughter is British (and does not need DCPR); you may apply for her passport directly.

4) No, not day of exit and day of reentry to UK.,
(Each applicant needs to give dates for absences out of UK).

Thank you for the quick response .
But now i am even more confused .What does DCPR mean?I did look on gov.uk could not find it .
Is that a different form ?
Why we don't have to apply for EEA(PR)?

Sorry for all the questions .And thank you very much.

Regards.

DCPR is what you obtain via form EEA (PR).

As per Gov UK, Apply for a Document Certifying Permanent Residence:
