35K Rule to apply for Permanent Residence

Post by ashwinjshetty » Mon Jul 18, 2016 5:40 pm

Hi Guru's,

I have a situation here,Currently I'm on Tier 2 General visa sponsored by my employee.I'm looking for an Permanent Residence Visa in two years time, I was just wondering about the salary package I should be earning while I'm eligible to apply for my Permanent Residence Visa.

I have heard the salary package should be more than/equal to 35000/Year,Does this mean I should have it for the last whole year before applying for my PR or do i need to get my salary increased to 35000 a month before I apply for my Visa.

Any valuable inputs is appreciated on this query.

Thanks in advance.
Ash:-)

Obviously you should negotiate and settle for for the happy medium between what you are worth and what someone is prepared to pay.

Although £35,000 a month would be a good starting point.

Yip £35,000 a month would be pretty impressive :D

Just earning £35,000 per annum before you apply will do the job. There is no prescribed timescale currently set in the guidance.
The required amount in two years time will no doubt be higher.
