Family Visitor Visa Query

Hi Team,

I am holding British citizenship and Passport now.

My Parents (from India) planning to visit me in August 16 for two months (Aug 16 and Sept 16) and they planning to apply for family visitor visa. I assume they will receive 6 months default visitor visa which usually gets provided.

Also they planning to visit me again in April 17 for another 3 months (Apr,May, June 17) So my question is - Will they be able to apply for another family visit visa in April 17 as they will complete 6 months cool off period in india from Oct 16 to Mar 16. OR they need to wait for 6 months after their first visa expires (in which case i believe they cant apply for another visa until next Aug 17 as their first visa will be expiring in Feb 17 only)?

Please can someone help.

There is no official cool off period.
But they shouldn't be visiting so much that they are residing rather than visiting.

Yes I understand that they visiting twice in a year time but that's due to special days like bday and etc hence why....also they not staying more than 2 months in those trips

S o are you saying that technically they can apply for another visa in April 2017? Even though their first visa would have expired in just Jan/Feb 17....off course they would have used their first visa to stay in uk only for two months max.
