EEA permanent residency application (retrospective)

Post by philippeg » Sat Jul 23, 2016 7:55 pm

Hello,
I have a question related to applying for retrospective permanent residency
My situation
in the UK non stop since 2005, with council tax, utility bills etc... to prove it.
Between 2005 and 2011 employed with full payslips and P60
05/2011-10/2012 18 month break still resident in UK, Self sufficient, not looking for work, but NO Comprehensive sickness insurance
10/2012-now employed with P60
I would like to apply for retrospective PR, I read on various forums that this is possible.
I'd like to apply, on the basis of being eligible for the period 2005 -> 2010
However, form: EEA(PR), section 9, requests to list, all jobs and statuses from arrival in UK, until now.
I am a tad confused by the form.
Has anyone been in the same circumstances?
Is my claim valid? in spite of lack of CSI for 2011-12?
If so what evidence do I need to send for the period 2010, until now?
Thank you in advance for help.

Its quite normal.

All applications are retrospective as you are not applying for PR but confirmation of having acquired it.

Based on stated facts, you should have acquired PR by 2010.

In which case your lack of CSI later on doesn't matter as no need to exercise treaty rights once you have achieved the holy grail of PR.

As per guidance, send evidence to prove id, treaty rights 2005-2010 & reaidence in UK from at least 2005 until now.

Assemble your evidence;
Have a go at filling the form;
See how it shapes up.

Hi noajthan,
my PR arrived this week.
A big thank you for help.
All in all it took 3 months.
Best regards
