EEA(QP) + EEA(EFM) qualifying in a few categories

Hi,
I'm 6 month in the UK, brought my girlfriend here with EEA EFM Family Permit, and now we are thinking about applying for EEA(EFM) for her. After reading the forum I understood that it's better to apply also for EEA(QP) for me simultaneously.

When I came to Britain (March 2016) I worked as a sub-contractor (I'm a software developer) and registered as self-employed right away. In July I got a permanent job, but not planning to close (cancel) self-employment. It seems that I can qualify as both working and self-employed for EEA(QP). But self-employed way requires a lot more documents to prepare (and I still haven't done my self-assessment tax return, as I have time till the end of the year for that, but it's required for EEA(QP) form).

Question - can I apply only as a working person (1 month, but with a contract, a confirmation letter from the employer and a 1 payslip) for EEA(QP) OR I should apply as both working and self-employed in my situation?
