Two companies both applied for unrestricted COS

Hi,

I'm on Tier4 at the moment and my future employer has started the process of applying for unrestricted COS.

I've heard bad things about this employer and I'm in the process of interviewing with another company.

I'm wondering what would happen if one company's already applied for the unrestricted COS but I refuse to switch to Tier2? Can the new company apply for a new COS for me? I'm a bit scared that they new company wouldn't be able to apply for a new one cuz my record is already in the home office system.

You cannot have two active CoS in your name. If you don't want to join the first company, you need to inform them and they need to withdraw your CoS. Once withdrawn, the 2nd company can apply for a new CoS in your name.
