You will need to ask about yourt wife's status on the EEA board, and state how you have been exercising your free movement treaty rights in the UK as a "qualified person", for your wife to be in the UK under EU rules.
And for someone who is age 62 now, it will be age 65 or age 66, for a UK state pension.Casa wrote:That puzzled me too. Ah! You could well have solved it!Noetic wrote:I read it OP having lived in the UK 62 years making it most of their life but not all.
In that case it seems his Russian wife will need to have held a CSI for PR or another RC, as she is the wife of a (non-working) self sufficient qualified person.Noetic wrote:I read it OP having lived in the UK 62 years making it most of their life but not all.
She's probably the wife of a permanent resident, so no CSI would be needed. It might be worthwhile for the OP to apply for a DCPR just to smooth his wife's path.Petaltop wrote:In that case it seems his Russian wife will need to have held a CSI for PR or another RC, as she is the wife of a (non-working) self sufficient qualified person.Noetic wrote:I read it OP having lived in the UK 62 years making it most of their life but not all.
