Outside UK for more than 180 days

Dear friends,

I need your help. I am planning to apply for SET-LR this month.
In 2011 I have been outside UK for nearly 195 days because I was doing my dissertation overseas and my university had given me permission for that, I have got the letter from them. However, 180 days is maximum time you can stay outside in single trip without breaking the continuous stay.

Apart from this there are no other other major breaks. Any suggestions is Highly appreciated.
