Please help . Mother family visit visa query

Post by visaforus » Wed Aug 03, 2016 7:59 pm

Asking on behalf of a friend dear members/moderators please help.

"Dear friends,
Please advise me here. In 2009 when I was due we had put my mother in laws visa application which was rejected in Vfs India. Reason was my husband for some period back then was working full time but he was a student and not allowed in real. But back then like many people did he used to . By mistake he sent statements which showed his full time work pay, and they noted it. They however did no questioning here but just rejected her visa in India that time based on this grounds. And had given option to appeal, but we got scared and left it.

Over the years he got post study after university, then got Tier 1 for 5 years and now we have Indefinite for a while, we want to call her to UK but are worried if her previous rejection will come up in immigration. and although we have Indefinite now can they question my husband again on it or create any issues at this stage ? what do you all think, is it risky to call her?
thank you"

It may or may not be raised again when applying for a visitor visa, but it will adversely affect his application for BC if he applies in the future.
