Query regarding Tier 2 ICT Dependent Stay

Post by npsingh » Sun Aug 07, 2016 10:59 am

Hi, I am on Tier Long Term Intra company transfer visa in UK valid till May 2018, however, my project is getting over and i am being asked to move back to my home country soon in15 days or so. i may try to come again for another project but there is no certainty.
My wife is working in UK on dependent VISA valid till May 2018, and needs to continue her job for couple of months before she can handover things and leave the UK. Is this allowed or she HAS TO leave when i leave the UK.

Once you move back to your home country, your sponsor has to report your movement to home office within 10 days of your leaving. This is part of their sponsor responsibilities. Once reported, home office will cancel your visa. Your dependent visa is tied to your visa being valid and you being available in the country for long term. As per my understanding, her stay will become invalid once you "permanently" move out of UK. If she stays back, your are risking your next visit to UK.
