B1 Business Visitor requirements

Post by ILR_MN1 » Tue Aug 09, 2016 1:40 pm

Hi all,

I am in UK on ILR and I need to apply for US Visitor Visa to attend company training. I am employed by US firm which have a UK office. Can you please help me the documents required for the appointment.

1-Do I need to provide employer letter from US office as well as UK office. If yes what needs to be included in the letters.
2-Do i need to include payslip and bank statements? All expenses will be covered by the company.
3- Do i need to provide travel information, as i was hoping to book travel after I receive Visa.

Your help will be higly appreciated.

Thanks,

You can find all the necessary information here...
https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/

The most appropriate visa would appear to be a B1/B2.

Thanks cs95tdg,

If I apply for B!/B2 visa rather than B1 visa, will there be any problem?

No, there shouldn't be. I did the same around 3 years ago. Ensure you supply the supporting documents for the B1 as your travel is business related and sponsored by your employer.
