itallian visa.... is 2 months enough time?

Post by jirawadee » Wed Aug 10, 2016 10:08 am

hi there newbie here
My UK husband e & i plan to visit Venice in mid October & was wondering if 2 months is longer enough to gather all the information & documents we need.
We plan to apply via VTS.

On the list of documents we need it doesn't ask for the translation of marriage certificate to English (which we have stamped by Thai Embassy in Bangkok October 2014) as we used this for the spouse visa.
I have a felling we will need this
Does anyone know if this document is we be valid for the Italian Schengan visa (or do we have to get a fresh translation) & that in fact we definitely do need this document?

Another thing is they are asking for is wage slips bank statements for the last 3 months. this is difficult as i am self employed. what we would prerfer to do is use husbands bank statements & wage slips as he will be sponsoring me
does anyone know if i will be allowed to do this.

also is 2 months enough time for the application?

Also i would like to hear from anyone who has applied for a Schengan visa recently.
i think your experiences will help us.
tahnaks in advance
