Wife applied for citizenship...4 weeks no response !!!

Hi,

we applied for wife Wife citizenship around beginning of July 2016. So it has been a month.

All Documents sent via registered post.

Still, we have not received any acknowledgement that they have received her file.

Anyone in the same situation ? It has been 4 weeks...Is this normal ?

Yes, pretty normal.

My friend did but he got acknowledment by 36 days.
some of us got acknowledgement and second letter together..
not to worry..

I am in same situation , i sent my file on 22nd July , file received 25th July (registered post) , still no response from them.
I have emailed them today just to make sure they did got my file but no reply.
but i know from others experience many got acknowledgement and second stage same time.
So hopefully will have some communication from them soon and i think delay is also due to the summer break (july - August).
