BRP not delivered yet

Hello all,

I was wondering if you could share your experience with BRP delivery.

Attended premium service in Cardiff on 20/7/2016 as I wanted to travel during the summer. However, it is 16/8/2016 and I have yet to receive my BRP.

I have already reported the issue online, which I got a reply from BRP OA Tech that there is currently a technical issue. It has been 8 working days since they said it and I have yet to receive my card.

Tried to call & email DX delivery throughout but there have not received anything for me yet.

Clearly HO BRP unit cant generate cards at the moment.

So its no use contacting DX yet.
They have nothing to deliver.

Sit tight. When process is fixed at HO end then BRP will be sent out and arrive in due course.

I received my BRP this evening (7pm) - 4 weeks after using the premium service centre in Sheffield.

I was so excited and relieved when the courier arrived that I forgot to ask him which company he was from. I rang DX Secure this morning and they told me that they still had no details on the system for my BRP, so I don't think he was from DX Secure.

I also contacted my local MP's office this morning and they said they would look into it. I will follow this up even though my card has arrived because I think the system is terrible. People should have clear communication through the process, rather than just automatic emails that give inaccurate information about when you'll be contacted. I strongly suggest others who are affected by BRP delays to also contact their MPs.

In my opinion, we can form some sort of consumer's forum to officially deal with service standard failure of UKBA. Unless there is any united activism against their service level, they will always prefer to resort to abstract rules and automated services.
