Financial Requirement Agency work less than 6 months

Post by sbrk87 » Tue Aug 16, 2016 12:25 pm

Hi All,

I am coming to the end of a notice period for my current job where I have so far, in the last 10 months, earned over £18,990. I can go straight in to another permanent role higher than the financial requirement but I have a better offer for agency work where I can get paid £28 p/h for an initially temporary 5 month contract.

I need to apply for my spouses visa and wondered whether I would qualify if I applied under the temp agency job?

Please could someone shed some light on this matter as I am very confused! :( :?

You can apply using Cat B - 12 months of payslips and bank statements.

Hiya thanks for replying.

Trouble is i havent been earning for 12 months i have only been earning for 10. But still in the 10 i have made more than £18,990.

I dont know if being in a temp agency job getting paid hourly has any impact on my application?

Thanks

With Cat B you don't have to have worked every month in the last 12 - just that you have earned the requirement amount in that time and continue to do so at the point of application.

When my husband applied in his home country I was an agency worker paid per hour. It is referred to as non salaried employment and the Home Office have no issue with temp work.
