Hi all, I wonder if anyone can help please ....?
Evidence of lawful residence in AN application.
I am EEU, have residence status, and have been exercising the treaty rights since 2004, but got the document of pernament residency recently (May 2016). The guy from HO, said when applying for naturalisation I need to send all the P60 from the past 5 years! The question is, why..,? I just sent it few months ago with my EEA PR form. What do they mean by saying:
APPLICATIONS MADE ON THE BASIS OF RESIDENCE IN THE UNITED KINGDOM
Evidence of lawful residence during the 5 (or, if the applicant is married to or in civil partnership to a British citizen, 3) years before the date of the application
• Your passports OR say why you are unable to provide one on page 24 and supply
• Letters from employers, educational establishments or other Government Departments indicating the applicant’s presence in the United Kingdom during the relevant period
Would it be enough to send the last passports covering the last 6 years?
I also do not have all P60, as I didn't work continuously ... Residence is residence, not exercising the treaty rights, is it? I have 2 passports covering the last 8 years. Would it be ok just to send these, or any other documents too? Is it anything else I could send as a proof or residency ..? Any ideas ? Thank you for your help
