FLR as a partner refused-need advice please!

Hello,
Have appied for my FLR as a spouse of UK citizen in March 2016 , got refusal on a financial requirement basis.
As we run a new company, by the time of application we had not full financial year report and not enough salary paid. We appealed and got refusal after 3 months. My passport is still hold by Home Office. In the appeal refusal letter they mentioned that i can apply again within 28 days and show all the paperwork-CT600, our bank statements covering full financial year from May 2015-May 2016.
The problem is we still can not meet the number as there is no profit, salary has been paid from September 2015-August 2016 and amount is met with this period, but they are interested in May-May period. I dont know what to do-should i go back to my country and apply from there?
Please can anybode advice me something? Cheers, thanks in advance

Unfortunately, the self-employment category is really tricky and it looks like it has caught you out!

Do you have any children?

Are you saying you don't meet the financial requirement May-May?

Do you have any significant savings or property that you have held for more than 6 months that can be sold?
