Withdrawal of postal application

Post by helpingperson » Fri Aug 19, 2016 4:48 pm

Hello All,

If you withdraw your postal application after HO has deducted payment, will they refund all fees?

Do you know the process to withdraw?

How to get IHS refund?

I submitted an FLRO application and want to withdraw it.

Thank you.

https://www.gov.uk/cancel-visa

Note: "You won’t get your fee refunded if you cancel an application that you made in the UK."

If you withdraw your application, the IHS fee will automatically be refunded.

Hello Casa,

I need more guidance/help on my situation.

I am nearing to my 10 years long residence but still about a year left. I applied for PBS application more than 2 months ago. This week, I also submitted another application as FLRO on long residence, human rights, family life, etc. The reason for this was that if HO refuse PBS application for any reason,, I have FLRO application pending with them so my 3C will continue.

Now we have received interview letter for Entrepreneur Extension yesterday which means it is going to take another 3 months for decision as those who have been interviewed on this forum waiting for decision since few months.

Given that current PBS application for sure will take at least couple of months, there is no reason to have FLO application as well, so I want to withdraw it.

I know it is not simple but to make it short FLRO was submitted to protect 10 years as on PBS they no longer give appeal rights.

Now is there a way that I can get refund of FLRO application as HO deducted fees only yesterday?

Few years back, I had Tier 4 and FLRO waiting at same time, HO wrote to me asking which one I want to have considered, I chose Tier 4 and they refunded FLRO fees, if I don't withdraw, will they offer me same option again?

What are HO rules about multiple applications at same time?

Thank you.

What are HO rules about multiple applications at same time? You can't have multiple applications running at the same time.

Thank you.

Casa,

Thank you for prompt response.

What will happen to my two applications?

Will Home Office not give me option as which one I want them to consider so they refund fees for other one as they have done in the past?

What happens if I don't give bio-metrics for FLRO application, they will return it as invalid and with fees refund?

Please see below.

Where an application is deemed invalid it will be returned unprocessed. The fee will not have been taken, or it will be refunded if paid by credit/debit card. It will be as if an application had never been made and, if your visa has already expired, this has serious implications for your immigration status and record.

I will still request experts/seniors comments on my query about 2nd application withdrawal and fees refund or not going for bio metrics, application becomes invalid and getting fees refund.

But I think I have finally found the answer on below link. It looks like they will be refund fees if I don't go for bio metrics.

https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/s ... 8_v0_3.pdf

INVALID APPLICATIONS
If the full fee or biometric data is not provided then the application will be
rejected as invalid. The application will not be considered and the fee will be
refunded less an administration fee of £25.

Casa,

While on one side you are educating users not to create jumbled threads, confuse people by mixed posts, this does not make any sense, how can I add multiple applications question under this withdrawal post thread. No will will bother to look at this. This is completely unrelated.

There are 100's ,perhaps 1000's of examples you can find on forum where users have created separate thread for every new question.

These are completely unrelated questions. You are doing no justice to me and to your authority as sense of logic should prevail this sense of power.

No one has time to find questions like this resulting I won't get any help.

I hope you become more helpful as I am sure this way no one will comment.

Hello

Please could anyone provide reference to rules about multiple applications but two complete different applications at the same time in process with Home Office such as PBS application and FLRO?

I had personal experience when I had Tier 4 and FLRO application with HO in process at same time, HO wrote to me asking which application I want to be considered, this is about 4 years back, but don't know current rules.

Any thoughts will be appreciated.

Thank you.

Dear helpingperson,
i believe the rule still stays the same, they should ask you to withdraw one of the application. Recently on the forum few applicants have the experience with the same issue (from varying FLR(FP) to ILR), they have got correspondence from HO requesting them to withdraw the one you don't want to continue with. The same should happen to you. You can't do any thing but to wait. If you don't want to get the FLR(O) considered, then don't go for registering biomatrics. I don't think they should still hold on to your fees when the biomtrics have not yet been registered.

Just an update, I have been refunded IHS for FLRO application, waiting for any update from HO on FLRO and FLRO fees refund.

I have two applications with HO at same time, one PBS, and one FLRO, I am trying to withdraw FLRO and get refund for this application. I paid both applications fees and both applications IHS.

Anyone knows anything due to experience on this situation, please let me know.
