Wife going away for 6 months,impact on ILR??

Hi,

I am on HSMP in UK...I have finished 1 year on HSMP...My wife is also in UK on HSMP dependent...
My Wife might go back to India for delivery of our child..
I/we intend to go for ILR after i finish 5 years on HSMP...I shd. be able to qulify for ILR as i am not going out of UK ...But my wife wont qualify for it as she would be away for 6 months or so during her HSMP visa..

My Q.is ,will dependents get ILR automatically once i get my ILR ??OR wat happens to my wife visa as she wont qulify for ILR

Your wife will still qualify, as long as it is clear that you remain in a relationship during your time apart.

Just to clarify further,when I/we apply for ILR after 5 years ,in the answer to the question "Have you been away from UK in last 5 years??" i would be putting "NO", but my wife would put as "YES"..Still she will be granted ILR ,isnt it???
Same would be true for my would be child i.e. Even s(he) will get ILR although he/she was not in UK(infact world) for last 5 years..
