Hi Guys, I am currently on a Tier 2 but unfortunately my employer withdrew my sponsorship due to not getting a contract for 3 months. I havent received a curtailment letter yet from the home office yet. I have secured a new contract due to start and my previous employer said they would sponsor me again but I have to pay the fees. The issue is that I can afford the fees they have asked for.
My question is that what are my options?
Can I start the new contract bearing in mind that my previous employer told me to go ahead while they sponsor me again but only if I pay the fees?
Can I tell them I am not paying the fees but continue work until I get the curtailment letter or perhaps find another sponsor?
Please I need any advice on what I can do

Contracts! Fees!
Are you contracting in some way or other?
(Illegally contracting).
If so you have strayed off the path and into a world of pain.
(Or do you mean whole company has failed to secure some contract?).

Sorry noajthan if my explanation was vague. I am sponsored by an umbrella company but they have withdrawn my sponsorship but now they are willing to sponsor me again but they want me to cover the fees associated to the sponsorship. Now I have a new contract due to start soon but I cant do it unless the umbrella gives me the go ahead but they have already explained their position. So my question is what do I do next

You still can't contract via umbrella on T2 visa.

Contracting in the manner you are doing is totally against tier 2 guidance. You knowingly participating will leave you in a prosecutable position so better all told you don't return to your previous sponsor.

What you are doing is 100% illegal. Suggest you pack up and leave the country ASAP before you get caught and collared.

It would be wise to take Frontier Mole & Wanderer's advice. prosecutable = prosecute in a criminal court of law.
