Help a UK Actor please

Post by Sender » Thu Dec 13, 2007 9:52 pm

I am a uk actor and am close to being cast in a rubbish some of which is being shot within the United States.

I am so excited I can hardly sit still, but at this moment the casting director has only confirmed that I have a Full 10 year uk passport. There has not as yet been any mention of me having to apply for a visa (or indeed, them getting it on my behalf ... )

In your esteemed opinion will I have to apply for a visa? What kind of visa will it be? Only for the period I am in the USA? My role within the film will mean I am only on US soil for a maximum of 3 days.

My elements of the film begin in the first week of January, and they are making the casting decision next week. How long do these issues take assuming I get the role?

THANK YOU !
