ILR Application - Address not updated

Posting on behalf of female friend.


She is preparing her document pack for ILR application. (Tier-2 ICT for 6.5 years - could not apply earlier for unavoidable personal reasons)

Only negative thing in her application is that she did not update her address with UKVI when she moved her rented home.

Is this something she can correct now by sending change of circumstances form before applying for ILR?

Forgot to mention:

She did change her address promptly with HMRC, electoral register but forgot to do with UKVI.

Living on new address for more than 4 months now...

Please advise.

If she is applying at PEO then at the time of case registration they will update the correct address from the application form. Usually the person who register confirm the details if there is any change in email Id or address before passing to biometrics, this was the case when I did my application at Croydon PEO recently.

She is planning to do a postal application (obviously from her current address)

Will UKVI refuse her application because she did not update her address with them?
