Tier 4 full time work and Tier 2 General visa related doubts

Post by Max_Wu » Mon Aug 22, 2016 4:38 pm

Hi there. I've got a job offer but as I'm still doing my MSc (first UK degree).

Can I check as UK uni only provide degree in the next year, what type of evidence I should use as the equivalent of a Degree or PGCE to switch Tier 4 into Tier 2? Formal transcript?

And before I can start applying for my Tier 2, what type of contract should I sign with the prospective employer to work under a Tier 4?

Many thanks.

you need confirmation from the uni that u have successfully completed the degree.. it doesnt have to be degree certificate but a letter confirming.
Only once u have letter, u can apply for tier 2 within uk and without rlmt.
contract thing is not an immigration issue, and more of an employment issue. I would say dont worry about that for several reasons, the emloyer will know what he is doing.

Thank you so much for the reply.

So I can understand this as - as long as I'm not in 'terms', I can work full-time for any company under Tier 4 - am I correct?
