Post by Bilal123459999 » Tue Aug 23, 2016 1:35 am

Hi everyone
Just a bit of background came uk with my mum.and brother from pak to join father who is a british citizen in 2014 and we have just applied our extension for more 2.5 so then we can apply for ilr but long story short my father had only 4 months payslip from one employer and our solicitor submitted flr fp form not flrm but i am a bit confused that will it put us on 10 year route or when at the end of our other extension we can just meet the financial req and apply for ilr straightaway? By da way he does meet req but only sended 4 months before he just worked somewhere else for two months and before that didnt work on tax system
Many thanks in advance

When you say that your father didn't work on the tax system, do you mean that he worked cash in hand illegally? If so, you may have a bigger problem if the Case Worker delves into how you have all been supporting yourselves financially during the last 2.5 year period.

Well, what did he earn (and declared for tax) before the 4 month & 2 month periods of employment you've mentioned?

I'm trying to help you to calculate what his earnings have been over the last 12 months from different employers. :?

You should be able to, but the challenge is to succeed with the FLR(FP) application first. Your solicitor will have to submit compelling and compassionate reasons why you can't settle together as a family outside of the UK.

So this means like when we reach our 5 year we will be able to apply for ilr if we meet financial req plus i was wondering that we dont need to worry much as we have submitted our application we didnt recive any biometric and acknowledgemenr letter but my father has recieved rest of the two month payskiod in the meantime
