Hi

I am a director of my company - it was my first financial year and the accounting period was 15 months - not 12 months. Will that affect my affordability.

The only issue I can see is that the sharp eyed ECO may not deem it fair to use the £18,600 threshold as you effectively have an extra 3 months to make the money.
I would suggest that you make sure the final 12 months of the financial year show earnings of minimum £18,600 whilst the extra 3 months at the beginning also show a minimum of £4650 (18,600/4) - just so that if they were to pull you up, all bases would be covered.
