Switch from Tier 5 (gae) to Flr (M) visa

Post by t2016 » Fri Aug 26, 2016 10:57 am

Hi all,

I booked premium service 14th September for Flr m visa. My current tier 5 gae visa expires 1st October. Would it be problem that I apply 2 weeks before my visa expires ? Is there any specific time I have to apply before my visa expires ? I am concerned about it. Hope experienced friends will help me .
Thank you in advance !

For the sake of clarify, the OP is on a Tier 5 (Temporary Worker - Government Authorised Exchange) visa.

You can submit a FLR(M) application at any time prior to your Tier 5 visa expiry date. That's assuming you are able to meet all the conditions attached, including your spouse (as your sponsor) having a minimum income level of £18,600 p.a pro-rata for the 6 month period prior to submitting the application.

Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.

Police Registration Certificate for FLR(M)

Post by t2016 » Mon Aug 29, 2016 1:29 pm

Hi All ! THANK YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR HELP SO FAR !

I have a question about police registration certificate. I will apply for flr m visa in September. I have been in the UK since December under tier 5 visa. I'm from Turkey and I didn't know that I need to register police station. I saw on application form it says : Your police registration certificate if you have been asked to register with the police and tick box.

I will go to register today. It will be a bit late tho :///

Would it be problem for application progress. Please help...
Thank you !

If they imposed a condition to register, then it's not too late to do so.

I didn't see under posts so I opened again sorry.
I won't register myself police station then this costs 35£ and I have already paid 1811 for visa. So I am broke. I will risk and just go appointment day. Hope there won't be problem. Thank you !
