Director Loan Agreement- Witness sign

Hi All... Just wanted to ask if a solicitor is signing a director Loan agreement as a witness, what date is he suppose to sign it? the date when agreement was done b/w director & Company or the current date before applying for extension. I made agreement in 2013 but not signed from witness. can i sign it from solicitor now with current date or send it without witness as its not required to be signed > Regards

A loan agreement does NOT need a witness signature. A solicitor will NOT sign a document you signed in 2013 unless he/she was present when you signed it.

...your accountant could sign as a witness
