DELAYS IN THE APPEAL PROCESS

Post by Ishmael79 » Wed Aug 31, 2016 2:49 pm

Please, I applied for a settlement visa to join my wife in the UK in Ghana in August 2015 and was refused on the grounds that my wife payslip was not up to date and that it should correspond with the Bank statement.I contacted a lawyer and submitted the appeal on 29th December 2015.I received the appeal letter on the 29tth of February 2016 giving the ECO 28 days to respond and then it was stated in the appeal letter that I will be contacted after 13th of June. But we are on the last day of August and I have not heard anything from the ECO or the tribunal.
Am getting worried please if you can help with some information or advice I will be most grateful.

This is pretty normal...

It would have been faster to reapply sending the correct documentation.

You could ask your wife's MP to chase it up... or the lawyer you hired...

Is your appeal based on a claim that your wife's payslip did in fact match with her bank statement?
(Casa, not CR001)
Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.
