Tier 2 ICT - resignation

Dear all,

I would like to know the period I can remain in the UK once I handed my resignation letter to my employer.
According to my contract I have a 3 month period notice, and its my plan to present my resignation letter next 30/09/2016.

my visa would expire april 2018.

Therefore i have two questions:

How long can I stay in the UK after 30/09?, 3 months notice period, plus the 60 days curtailment period???, or all in all it would depend on the curtailment period imposed by UKVI/ Home office?

secondly, according to my passport i don't need a visa to enter as a tourist to the UK or any other country in the EU... but in case i leave, for example, a long weekend in France, would i be able to enter again to the UK during my notice period/curtailment period?.
