Hi,
I urgently need some advice regarding my status. I am a British Citizen and I am applying for FLR (M) (Spouse visa extension). I am self-employed. I meet the income requirement comfortably, however, I have transferred my salary and dividends into my wife’s (wife a Director in the company not a shareholder) sole account rather than my personal account or a joint account. I have provided all necessary documents showing the salary and dividend as my income such as CT600, Self-Assessment, Unaudited accounts, business bank statements showing salary and dividend being transferred into my wife’s account, SA302 and payslips in my name. The only problem is that according to the application form
‘(ii) Personal bank statement(s) showing that those dividends were paid into an account in the name of the person or in the name of the person and their partner jointly.’

Is this likely to affect the outcome of my application?
